People prefer to communicate in text for lots of reasons. Text-based counselling is for anyone who:
- Feels nervous during face-to-face or voice communication
- Expresses themselves better through text
- Doesn’t enjoy talking
- Wants to be able to think through their responses
- Just prefers to write things out
Whatever the reason, everyone deserves the opportunity for counselling that supports them, in the way they want to receive it.
